Where moonbattery prevails, when it comes to mental health, the asylum is run by the inmates:

A member of a state panel advising the director of Oregon’s Health Authority (OHA) on best practices and policies in mental health identifies as a “turtle.”

Consumer Advisory Councilmember JD Holt also goes by the name “JD Terrapin.” Her proclaimed pronouns are they, them, and turtle.

Holt did not come up with this on her own. Per woke ideology, it is legitimate to identify as a turtle:

Gender Wiki, a website that documents the list of non-binary genders, describes “turtlegender,” sometimes called “tortoisegender,” as “a xenogender identity in which one feels a gendered connection to turtles.”

If a woman can be a man, it stands to reason she can be a turtle.

Duties of the advisory council, among other things, include the ability to “investigate,” “evaluate” and “recommend” the state’s behavioral health resources.

The behavioral health exhibited by Holt is predictable:

Holt has promoted “anarchist” causes and encouraged people to obstruct immigration enforcement actions. …

Holt’s post encouraged people to yell and scream at federal immigration authorities and make their jobs as “difficult and uncomfortable” as possible.

Anyone who buys into the LGBTist premise that you can “identify as” something other than what you objectively are is certain to embrace the rest of the liberal agenda. That’s why climate kooks recruit children to become furries.
