The smear campaign against J.D. Vance won’t end.

But what just happened scraped the bottom of the barrel.

And the liberal media pulled this dirty trick on J.D. Vance.

As Liberal Hack Watch reports:

The fact-check industrial complex is nothing more than a Democrat Party propaganda operation.

So-called “fact-checkers” use their status as the alleged neutral arbiters of truth to cycle the Democrats’ political talking points to the American people under the guise of “facts.”

The “fact-checkers” employed by media outlets invariably target Republicans and claim everything conservatives say is false and misleading because it makes Democrats looks bad.

Fact-checkers’ recent attempt to falsely claim Kamala Harris never served as Joe Biden’s border czar is a prime example.

Now that Joe Biden is out of the race, the media are pretending Kamala Harris was never the border czar.

J.D. Vance is the latest victim of the partisan hitmen masquerading as “fact-checkers.”

The Associated Press laundered a lie into the 2024 election conversation to smear Vance as some kind of sexual deviant.

The headline of an Associated Press fact-check was, “No, JD Vance did not have sex with a couch.”

The fact-check supposedly checked the claim that “Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance wrote in his 2016 memoir about having sex with a couch.”

Naturally the Associated Press called this claim “false.”

“Vance does not write about performing such an act in his bestselling book. A searchable PDF of the memoir includes 10 mentions of the word ‘couch’ or ‘couches,’ none of which are related to accounts of salacious escapades. Some social media users have claimed the story appears on pages 179 to 181, where Vance actually writes about his first days as a freshman at The Ohio State University,” the fact-check read.

But this article never should have been published.

It was based on two random posters on social media making up a wild lie about Vance.

“Somebody please explain to me how JD Vance, who wrote about humping a couch and has only been a Senator for barely TWO f—ing years, thinks he has the right to criticize Kamala Harris’ qualifications,” the first user wrote.

“In his dreadful novel, ‘Hillbilly Elegy,’ JD Vance described having sex with a rubber glove secured between cushions on his couch. Republicans chose him to be one heartbeat away from becoming POTUS. Voters in NC, the U.S. furniture capital, should be particularly horrified,” the second user posted.

The Associated Press later deleted the fact-check as it was based on two claims made by anonymous social media users and not political figures.

But the damage was done.

And that was the point.

Publishing this fact-check allowed Democrats to flood social media with memes about how J.D. Vance had sexual relations with a couch.

These memes fueled the Harris campaign talking point that Vance was “weird.”

It was all based on a lie that the Associated Press knowingly and willfully published knowing that doing so would help Democrats try and disqualify Vance in the eyes of voters.
