Ratings Nosedive Earned For MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace

After the Trump’s Joint Address on Tuesday night where he recognized brain cancer survivor DJ Daniel, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace made vile, reprehensible and disgusting comments. She mocked the young man’s desire to be in law enforcement. Trump called for both Wallace and Rachel Maddow to be canned. Since Wallace has had an earned ratings nosedive, Trump may not be far off.

I last wrote about Nicolle Wallace back in October of 2024 when she accused our now Vice President J.D. Vance of “mansplaining”. Argh! I was way too easy on Wallace. I called her a sad, confused chick. Her comments about sweet DJ and his career in law enforcement have earned her a righteous smack down. Exactly what did she say? The Daily Mail has the details:

Soon after he was awarded, Wallace and Maddow couldn’t resist the urge to say something negative – even about a young cancer stricken boy.

‘I hope he’s alive for another 95 years and I hope he lives the life he wants to live. He wants to be a cop, he knows what he wants to do and maybe when you have childhood cancer that crystallizes for you,’ Wallace began.

The anchor then managed a pivot to the Capitol riot that took place on January 6, 2021.

‘I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer – but I hope he never has to defend the United States capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters…if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide,’ Wallace said.

It’s even worse hearing the words from Wallace’s whiny mouth than just reading them. Nicolle Wallace has been a vicious sniper since she sold out Sarah Palin. She has long claimed that Palin was “in over her head” when she was the Veep candidate to John McCain. She has since dragged Palin all over Hell and half of Georgia. Like Nicolle Wallace has room to talk. She is nothing more than a partisan hack with a whiny voice and a totally flat personality and she comes off very cold, if you take my meaning. Her interviews have the depth of a summer puddle on a sunny day.

All of us also hope that young Mr. Daniel has a long life and bright future in whatever field he decides to choose. I hope he never has to watch an angry mob with torches set fire to his city (Minneapolis) or has to deal with law enforcement suicide. A 2019 study found that law enforcement as a profession has a 54% higher rate of suicide than other civilian professions. For Wallace to bring this up was disgusting and small. But that’s Nicolle Wallace. Disgusting and small.

MSNBC fired Joy Reid and Katie Phang. Nicolle Wallace is shedding viewers fast.

Can you imagine what an unhappy place MSNBC is to work? Imagine Jenn Psaki, Rachel Maddow and Nicolle Wallace, all frosty and permanently puckered, at one table. Pity the cameraman who has to look at that through his lens. Don’t just fire Wallace, fire all of them.
