January 6: The Lies Continue

The lies are all they have. The media and Democrats are desperately clinging to the narrative that January 6 was an insurrection and the U.S. Capitol nearly burned to the ground.

Nancy wants us all to forget that it was an unhinged Democrat supporter who attacked her husband that night. Furthermore, she wants us to forget that it was SHE who refused to bring in the National Guard prior to and on January 6. 

Meanwhile the Washington Post still describes the events as a riot led by a mob that laid siege to the Capitol that day. 

As of Monday, the fourth anniversary of the attack, about 1,580 people had been charged with federal crimes stemming from the riot, according to the Justice Department:

At least the Washington Post somewhat admits that the only one killed that day was Ashli Babbitt. Except she remains nameless in their reporting.

More than 140 police officers were injured in the attack, which forced the evacuation of lawmakers and Vice President Mike Pence from a joint session of Congress and delayed the certification of the election results for hours. Participants carried weapons including firearms, chemical sprays, stun guns, axes, baseball bats, a sword and a hockey stick. A female rioter was shot and killed by police inside the Capitol, and one officer succumbed to two strokes that were partly attributed to the stress of the attack. Three people died as a result of medical emergencies suffered during the riot. Four police officers later died by suicide.

The media and Democrats INSIST that January 6 was an insurrection.

It’s because today in America, tragically, only one party respects elections. The other party uses and justifies violence to keep power.

Chris really can’t help himself from bloviating about that that never was and what was never going to happen. Bloodbath? WHAT bloodbath? The one that lives rent free in their imagination?

Those of us who live in reality and engage in rational thinking know that the U.S. Capitol was burned to the ground by BRITISH troops during the War of 1812. Was anything at the U.S. Capitol burned on January 6? Were any priceless paintings or statutes defaced or destroyed? The answer is NO. 

I know we’re numb to it, but crazy how many media and other Democrats have brazenly lied about who was killed in the J6 protest. A Trump supporter was shot, not a police officer, much less multiple police officers. Facts matter at some point.

As Mollie knows full well, the Democrats and media don’t give a rip about facts. That’s why we need to continue to point out their lies.

They want us to ignore the fact that not ONE SINGLE J6 defendant was convicted on the charge of insurrection. NOT ONE.

As we pointed out here, Liz Cheney infamously opined that January 6 will happen every 4 years. She WANTS and NEEDS more so-called “insurrections” so that we will all ignore her very serious breach of legal ethics during her tenure on the atrocious J6 Committee. Instead, after helping Cassidy Hutchinson change her testimony and hide thousands of hours of footage from the American public, along with having mass terabytes of data go mysteriously missing, Liz is gifted a participation trophy from Joe Biden.

Yet the media and Democrats persist in their lies. Led by President Trump, we’ve dared to rewrite the narrative of what actually happened that day. 

In two weeks, Donald J. Trump is to emerge from an arched portal of the United States Capitol to once again take the presidential oath of office. As the Inauguration Day ritual conveying the peaceful transfer of power unfolds, he will stand where the worst of the mayhem of Jan. 6, 2021, took place, largely in his name.

Directly behind Mr. Trump will be the metal-and-glass doors where protesters, inflamed by his lie that the 2020 election had been stolen from him, stormed the Capitol with clubs, chemical irritants and other weapons. To his left, the spot where roaring rioters and outnumbered police officers fought hand to hand. To his right, where the prostrate body of a dying woman was jostled in the bloody fray.

In the wake of the attack on the Capitol, Mr. Trump’s volatile political career seemed over, his incendiary words before the riot rattling the leaders of his own Republican Party. Myriad factors explain his stunning resurrection, but not least of them is how effectively he and his loyalists have laundered the history of Jan. 6, turning a political nightmare into a political asset.

That’s some serious pearl clutching right there! 

They want us to forget that President Trump was over a mile away in the middle of his speech when people started going INTO the U.S. Capitol, when barricades were being thrown around, a podium was taken, fist fights broke out, people prayed and sang, windows were broken, someone dared to put their feet on Nancy’s desk, and a woman was shot. They persist in telling us that police officers died because of  and onJanuary 6, when all rational evidence states otherwise. 

Furthermore, they are absolutely furious that Trump is considering pardons for many of the J6 defendants. Were some or a great number of those cases mismanaged or was the law weaponized against J6’ers? It’s highly possible. 

Meet Heather Shaner.

She is a DC Public Defender who has represented 43 J6 defendants who couldn’t afford real representation.

Especially given that NO ONE has been held accountable for the billions in damage and destruction over the George Floyd riots. 

Never mind that. And forget insurrection or riot. It was an attempted coup per USA Today! 

Good grief. Yes, the events of that day were awful and yes, there was violence. I, for one, have never ignored that fact. 

But to persist in the lies that this was a coup d’etat or insurrection is blatantly wrong, especially given that Congress was back in session three and a half hours later! 

Democrats wonder why they lost and Trump will be sworn in on January 20th. Lies like these are a key reason.
