THE SITUATION BECOMES UNTENABLE | Liberal Lawmakers Admit There is Crisis on the Border

Guess who’s trying to turn the tables with less than six months until the general elections? 

As polls continue to deliver bad news for the Democrats, they are now encouraged to push for fixing border woes and blame GOP lawmakers for politicizing the issue.

A memo from the left’s campaign arm noted that candidates should work to flip the story on GOP members for opposing a bipartisan Senate deal, leading to an unresolved border crisis. 

The memo further lamented that the Republicans rejected the border deal so they could weaponize it and destroy Biden’s “image” to deny his reelection bid, and mentioned a poll that cites the Senate deal as widely popular with registered voters. 

For many House Republicans and former president Donald Trump, the bill did not actually resolve border security issues. 

“If Democrats say ‘lean in’ on the border, we say: ‘It’s your political funeral,’” said Jack Pandol, spokesman for the House GOP’s campaign arm.

Democrats are now desperately trying to subvert the narrative that Biden himself created. At least seven million illegals entered the southern border since he imposed an open border policy. 

Gallup poll recently reported that the immigration crisis was among the top issues for voters (previous surveys also reflected similar results.)

Reflective also of these are reports that presumptive Republican nominee Trump continues to widen the gap against Biden on the said topic. 

In a media report, 15 House Democrats—representatives from Minnesota and the battleground states of Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Michigan—pressed Biden to implement executive action on the United States’ border with Mexico. 

Surprisingly, the Democrats are now arguing that the Republicans, who have long campaigned on closing the border and putting up a wall, would rather “see the crisis continue and use it as a campaign ad instead of actually addressing this national security issue.”

“It has become clear that the current situation remains untenable, but with Republicans playing politics on border security, it is time for your administration to act,” the letter from 15 Democrats said. 

“We urge you to use all tools at your disposal, including executive action, to better address security at the Southern border, interdict illicit fentanyl, and allow for orderly legal immigration.”

The statement from 15 leftist lawmakers followed a letter signed by 80 lawmakers addressed to Biden, calling on him to “take all available actions to streamline pathways to lawful status for undocumented immigrants” ahead of the November election.

“Deporting all such individuals —as former President Donald Trump has threatened to do if reelected —would devastate the American economy and destroy American families,” they added.
